JW Excavating & Trucking is Jordan Winters: a Hale guy with an excavator, a tri-axle dump truck, and a simple way of doing business. Jordan answers the phone, walks the job with you, runs the machine himself, and calls you back within 24 hours. That is the whole org chart.

The company is built for the way Northeast Michigan actually is: lake places that need seawalls before the ice comes, long gravel drives back to camps and cabins, septic systems in sandy ground, and jobs of every size in towns the big outfits do not bother returning calls to. Because it is just us, the small jobs get a real yes and the big jobs get the owner's full attention from estimate to final grade.

Plain answers, written numbers, and ground put back the way it should be. If a repair will do, we say so. If the cheap fix is throwing money away, we say that too. It is a small-town business: the next job always comes from how the last one went.
