Some excavating companies only want the hundred-hour jobs. We are built the other way: owner-operated, compact equipment, and just as glad to spend a morning cutting in a parking pad as a month on a full site prep.
Whatever the dig is, you get the same deal: Jordan answers the phone, walks the site with you, runs the machine himself, and calls you back within 24 hours. Small jobs welcome is not a slogan here, it is the business model.

How it goes
Walk the site
We meet you on the ground, talk through what you are building, and flag anything that will bite later: water, soft spots, access.
Free estimate
A written number, not a range that doubles later.
MISS DIG and dig
Utilities located, then the work: cut, fill, grade, and compact to the elevations your builder needs.
Finish and haul-off
Spoils hauled away with our own truck, site left grade-stakes-ready.
From our jobs
Excavation questions
Do you take small jobs?
Yes, happily. Owner-operated means no minimum-crew math. If it is worth your call, it is worth our machine showing up.
Do I need to call MISS DIG before you dig?
We do it for you. Michigan law requires utilities to be located before excavation, and we schedule the locate as part of every job.
Can you prep a pole barn or garage site?
Yes. Stripping, cut and fill, compacted stone pad to your builder's spec, and the driveway to reach it. It is one of our most common jobs.
What do you do with the dirt you dig out?
Whatever serves you best: spread it on site, stockpile it, or haul it off in our tri-axle. If you need fill instead, we deliver that too.
Where we do this work
Plus everywhere between across Iosco, Ogemaw, Arenac, and Alcona counties.
