Licensed & Insured USDOT 4568929 Owner-Operated Free Estimates Serving Northeast Michigan

When the main line between your house and the septic tank or municipal sewer fails, snaking it is just renting time. Roots, bellies, crushed clay tile, and separated joints all come back. Replacing the run fixes it once.

We excavate and replace sewer lines across the Hale and Tawas area: careful digging around what is buried in your yard, new pipe bedded and sloped to code, inspections handled, and the trench compacted and graded so your lawn does not settle into a ditch next spring.

What's included

  • Full main line replacement from house to tank or main
  • Spot repairs where a single break or belly is the problem
  • MISS DIG utility locates before any digging
  • Code-right pipe, bedding, and slope with inspection coordination
  • Careful work around wells, trees, driveways, and landscaping
  • Backfill, compaction, and finish grading

How it goes

  1. Diagnosis and estimate

We figure out where and why the line failed, then quote the repair or replacement in writing, free.

  2. Locates and permits

MISS DIG marks the buried utilities and we line up the health department or municipal inspection.

  3. Excavate and replace

Open the trench, pull the failed pipe, and set new line at the right slope on proper bedding.

  4. Inspect, backfill, restore

Inspection passed, trench compacted in lifts, topsoil back, and the yard graded out.

Sewer Line Replacement questions

How do I know if my sewer line needs replacement instead of another snaking?

If you are snaking it every few months, backups keep coming back in the same spot, or a camera shows roots, a belly, or crushed pipe, the line is telling you it is done. Replacement fixes the cause instead of the symptom.

How much of my yard gets dug up?

A trench along the pipe run, and that is it. We keep the machine footprint tight, save the topsoil separately, and put the surface back to grade when the inspection is passed.

Do you handle the permits and inspection?

Yes. Sewer work needs a permit and an inspection in most townships, and we coordinate it as part of the job.

What about winter failures?

Sewer failures do not wait for good weather and neither do we. Frost makes the dig slower, not impossible. Call and we will give it to you straight.

Can you replace just the broken section?

Sometimes, and when a spot repair honestly solves it we will quote that. If the whole run is bad clay tile or Orangeburg, patching one break just moves the next one down the pipe.
