Do I need a perc test for a new septic system?
Yes. The district health department requires a soil evaluation before permitting a system, and it decides what kind of field your ground can support. We coordinate it as part of the job.
What size septic tank do I need?
The health department sizes it by bedroom count. Most homes land in the 1,000 to 1,500 gallon range, and the permit spells it out. We install what the permit calls for.
My drain field is failing. Do I need a whole new system?
Not always. If the tank is sound, a new field in fresh soil often solves it. The soil evaluation tells us, and we quote you the honest option.
How long does an install take?
Most residential installs are measured in days once the permit is in hand, weather permitting. The permit and perc scheduling is usually the longer part, so call early.
Do you handle the whole permit process?
Yes. Permit application, working with the sanitarian, and the final inspection: we handle it and keep you posted.
